Our Mission

Préservation Lac-Tremblant-Nord (PLTN) is a non-profit organization created and managed by volunteer members of the community to maintain the environmental integrity of the area.

Our mission is rooted in responsible stewardship, with a strong focus on limiting contamination and overexploitation of Lac Tremblant. Enforcing protective measures, our organization plays a vital role in minimizing environmental impact and ensuring the long-term health of the lake.

1. monitoring and addressing potential environmental threats to waters and shorelines, including watercraft access.
2. guaranteeing property access for residents, particularly for boat-access only properties.
3. developing community awareness of environmental and safety guidelines that relate to surrounding lakes and forests.

The continued existence and involvement of PLTN is essential in sustaining the lake’s clean, natural state for current and future generations.
